To become more adept at conversation, English becomes less about grammar and pre-fabricated phrases, and more about communication. In this class you will start to really communicate in English and connect your thoughts and ideas with others. You will learn to talk with others, not talk at others.
Good communication involves trying to understand the other person and listening to what they have to say. Learning to listen in this way is an important part of communication.
We will engage in discourse, learn real world English, idioms and structural discourse elements.
